The Association of Controls Professionals (ACP), a non-profit membership organization, is launching the first and only non-proprietary certification for the Building Automation Systems (BAS) industry, establishing a benchmark for BAS technician skills. Years in the making, with the involvement of dozens of subject-matter experts representing all industry sectors, this certification followed strict International Organization of Standards (ISO) 17024 guidelines throughout its development, which details specific processes to be followed in developing high-value industry certifications.
ACP will host an interactive, virtual event on our home page at www.ACP21.org on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM (ET). There will be a special presentation and industry-leading speakers discussing the significance of this certification.
